You can now edit the Current Situation text within CropSignal without having to export a Word Doc first.
You can also auto-populate the Current Situation text box with the Report Summary widget contents if they are available to use as a starting point.
Pivot widgets have been updated so that parent locations can be added as extra data columns. For example, if you build a widget for Brazil Municipios (L4), previously, only the Municipio location would be visible as the Location column.
Now, you can click “No Pivot”, and there is a new select box where you can optionally select ancestor locations (L1 (Country), L2, and/or L3) or any combination of those so you can tell which country, province, district, any particular location belongs to. Once selected, they are also available to be pivoted on.

The CHIRPS precipitation data has been upgraded from v2 to v3. This applies to the aggregated data in the Weather topic in CropSignal and the rasters displayed on GeoSynergy2.
You can now drag and drop widgets on your dashboard into a desired order. On the dashboard toolbar, there is a new crosshair icon to enable drag-and-drop mode.
After enabling that mode, the widgets will shrink into one column of thumbnails that you can drag and drop into desired order and then close the drag and drop mode.
You can now set up an alert on a Lockup Table and be notified (either in CropSignal or via email) when the data in the Lockup Table changes. The alert functionality is similar to widget alerts. Note that Lockup Table alerts automatically expire at the end of the forecast month.
We have added a feature that will auto-adjust the widget height of Pivot Table widgets to minimize white space underneath the table, up to a maximum row size. On the dashboard toolbar, when viewing a dashboard, look for the up-and-down arrow icon next to the tile widgets icon.
Pivot widgets from Topics can now use dynamic placeholder variables, such as {Location}, {Crop}, {Source}, etc that will be populated when the widget renders. This allows widget titles and subtitles to be responsive to changes in a widget’s underlying data, including editing existing widgets.
The user-to-user and user-to-group sharing feature has been extended to Lockup Tables, Documents and AYP Outyear Projections.
We have published a new Documents Tool for CropSignal — find it under the Tools menu. A “Document” functions like a dashboard where you can save widgets, but widgets are rendered as PNG images and sized for Word Documents. You can also create editable text elements that can be intermixed within a document along with PNG widgets.
We have also included a generative AI text prompt tool that can generate answers to questions and quickly be added to documents.
Documents can be quickly exported as Word Doc files.
